Day 30 – Taking Small Steps

Today I’m challenged to write out the first small steps I can take toward living my best life. I have pondered this since the beginning of February of this year and I believe that I have already taken the first steps toward living my best life.

I have carved out precious moments for quality time with my son, fostering a stronger connection. My interactions with my spouse have transformed by engaging in meaningful conversations with intent. Prioritizing my well-being, both physically and emotionally, has become a cornerstone of my daily routine. My passion for writing has been rekindled, accompanied by the desire to share my work with the world.

While it's easy to succumb to regret about the time invested in my previous job, I find solace in the silver lining. The experience has instilled in me a profound lesson of the value of time and its fleeting nature.

I am looking forward to beginning a new chapter of my professional life, and I can take the lesson I have learned to ensure that I establish firm boundaries around my personal time and aspirational endeavors. By doing so, I aim to not only excel in my role but also to radiate positivity to those I collaborate with, much like I did during my former leadership role.

Clouds above the horizon.
