Day 13 - Asking a Friend

Today’s challenge is asking a couple of people I trust to tell me something about me that they think I do for the Brave, Fearless, and Fearful categories from yesterday’s challenge. Learning what other people think about me can be difficult; especially if their observations and my personal insights aren’t in alignment.

I am embarrassed to say that I dropped the ball on today’s challenge.

My first mistake was that instead of doing the challenge in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee, I pushed it until the afternoon. My second mistake was forgetting to ask my friend Molly when we were at the theater waiting for the Barbie movie to begin.

I also forgot that I had some food shopping to do after the movie, and then I had an assessment on my schedule to complete before the evening was through. Now we’ve made it to 8pm and I am just about ready to head to bed.

I could beat myself up over this misstep or I can recognize that I am human and give myself grace. I am choosing grace.

I will try again tomorrow. In the meantime, here is an adorable photo of my deaf dog, Alix Grace.
